Yesterday I took a flight out of state to visit one of our sites...

Airport Security was meh... tight but not as crazy as it must have been last week.

This 5 year old kid was getting the shakedown.  At first I felt
bad for him, but then I kind of laughed at the same time... then I felt
bad for laughing.

This 5 year old kid didn't want to go through the metal detector, so
his dad had to carry him through.  The kid kicked out his feet,
put out his arms and would not go through the detector (screaming the
entire time.)  Finally the father just picked him up and wrapped
his arms around him and walked through... The buzzer went off and they
had to step to the left...

Then the airport security guard (must've been 60 years old) started
waving his metal detector around and the kid would not stop
screaming.  They almost had to hold him down because he was being
so uncooperative... Then I thought...

WTH?? it's a 5 year old kid that's scared... What danger does he pose to the airport. Just let the kid through...

Wake up and stop wasting your time on shaking down a 5 year old kid and
start paying attention to those who appear to be suspicious.  Stop
with the whole PC garbage and start profiling.  Does an
investigations cop interview everyone in the entire neihborhood? or do
they go to the most likely suspects... c'mon people lets get a grasp on
common sense!

I was able to get onto the plane with a caramel chocolate whey bar... On accident I swear!

SAN
JOSE, Calif. -- Santa
Clara County health officials confirmed Tuesday the first
reported human case of West Nile virus in the
county this year.

Health officials told NBC11 that
there is one more possible case of West Nile
under investigation. It involves a man from Cupertino.

Health officials said people over 50
years old and those with lower immune systems are at the highest risk of
contracting the virus.

They also pointed out that less than
one percent of people biten by an infected mosquito end up coming down with
West Nile.

Earlier this week, four birds and
three groups of mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile virus in approximately
3 square miles of San Jose and Campbell.

That discovery prompted county
officials to fog the neighborhood.

The area borders the northern edge
of Williams
Road in San Jose and
the southern edge of Century Drive and Budd Avenue in Campbell while stretching
west to San Tomas Aquino
Road and east to Winchester Boulevard. About 6,700 residents
live in the affected area, which now also includes a section north of
Payne
Avenue, according to the vector control
district.

A total of 12 West Nile
virus-infected groups of mosquitoes and more than 70 infected birds have been
discovered in Santa
Clara County so far this season, according to
the abatement district.

The planned announcement of a human
case will be the first to be reported countywide.
