  • First Timer

    I was sitting down to eat a Southwest Taco salad and one of the Wendys workers came by and said "would anyone here like a refill?"

    I was so taken aback by this question because I've never been asked at a fast food place before if I wanted a refill while I was sitting down at the table.

    I guess this means that the lady who went around asking really did take pride in her work.  She could have just stood there at the register and waited for more customers, but instead, she went out into the restraunt and decided to make the patrons feel more at home.

    I think I'll eat at Wendy's more because of this plesant experience.

    Oh I told her "no thanks I haven't even taken a sip yet."

  • Rockslide Myx TV ABS / CBN inteviews 8PAST

    We went to the TV studio at ABS / CBN a direct TV station and were included in 6 episodes of Rockslide's Myx TV.  They play music videos. 

    Between music videos, they interviewed the band members individually and then we played a live acoustic set for them.

    I was actually very nervous during the interview.  I love the stage, but the cameras scare me. =P  The host asked me a bunch of questions and I probably had this puzzled scared look on my face the entire time.  If given a choice, I'd choose the stage.

    Nate on the other hand was a natural in front of the camera.  So we gave him a new nickname.  "VJ Nate"  He could do it and the director asked him if he wanted to do it again some time.

    So the show is scheduled to be on in about two weeks.  They're going to let us know when that's going to happen hopefully soon and I'll update with the info.  Does anyone have Direct TV? I would like to record it.

    It's pretty obvious that the roasting is politically driven.  How many previous people have been indicted on 9 counts for residency?  I don't know why I haven't heard about this more.  Maybe I've been mislead, but it sounds retaliatory.

    He moved stayed in Burlingame to be close to his wife while she went through breast cancer treatment. C'mon folks give the guy a break.

    Okay, I'll stop, I'm sounding like I care.  Maybe I do.
