So its about 50 degrees here in Oakland, CA and I'm heading back to my office. Guess who I see?

Yes, the 12 year old girl standing on the street corner holding a basket of goodies and trying to get "donations" for her school...

But this time she's not alone. There's a cop standing there talking to her.

I listen in and find out that she's "on her lunch break" by herself and the Cop doesn't feel right about her being there unsupervised.

He called the school and they were going to pick her up.

My boss saw this going on and wanted to explain to the cop that these kids are out here all the time.

The Cop said "just call it in next time you see them out here"

Awesome.  But I don't know whether or not the Cop will do anything when they're accompanied by the adults...

Here's a new picture of my furry friend. The blue thing is a pen cap so you can kind of get a feel for the actual size.

My big Bro in law Austin took me ring shopping about a month ago. The jeweler lined up all these diamonds in a row and we compared the colors of the diamonds. He showed me how a colorless diamond looked compared to all the other ones. D is colorless, and then it goes E slightly colored... etc...

SO...

When I went to visit Jeanny in dallas... of course these things were still on my mind. As we were walking to her apartment to pick up some of her stuff, I looked up at the lights and noticed that they were all slightly different colors.

Phil: Hey honey Look at the lights!
Jeanny: What??? Gross!
Phil: ?
Jeanny: you have a dirty mind!
Phil: What? I don't get it... I'm just trying to point out... That's a D..., That's a...
Jeanny: Ewe Gross!
Phil: (confused)
Jeanny: I know the lights look like boobies okay!?

Phil: That's not what I meant... (sigh)
Jeanny: (laughing histerically) You're so gross!

She's convinced that's what I meant. I don't blame her. They do look like boobs.

She gave me a hard time when I took the pictures too...
Phil: Hold up, I wanna take a picture of this and put it on xanga.
Lenny: What is Phil Doing?
Jeanny: Mom, he's taking pictures of boobies.
Lenny: what is this? Boobies? haha.

Meet our Scary Spider "Wolf".

His body is about the size of my thumb nail and his legs stretch out about the size of 1 quarter and half a quarter.

Most of the time he just likes hanging around.

Sadly we'll never be able to make a quick stop to waste time at the KB toystore in the mall anymore. I'm sad to see that they have gone out of business.

On a happier note... we got all these toys on Dec 24th for 4 dollars

I didn't let the loss spoil the moment.
