The downtown things I'll miss in San Jose are the Sharks and the La Victoria's orange sauce.  Seriously, this sauce can turn normal taco bell into a delightful spicy delicacy... okay maybe not that far, but close!

I've been trying for the past two weeks to figure out what the formula is for La Vic's Orange sauce... Here's what I've tried:

Nacho Cheese + red peppers + Jalapenos (tastes good, but it's not La Vic's)

Mayo + Nacho Cheese + Red peppers + Jalapenos (tastes better, but not close to La Vic's)

Sour Cream + Red Peppers + Jalapenos + Hot sauce (tastes closer... But not La Vic's Sauce)

... I'll get it one of these days.

I went to IKEA last night at 9pm.  I didn't know they closed at 8pm on the weekdays...

I decided instead of going through the front, to go through the back.  There were some shoppers still in line. So me and Howard just walked right in and started looking around. And then I saw it!

The desk I was thinking of!!

So I bought it and put it together last night.

I've finally closed the chapter to a long legacy at Villa Torino.  It all started with Caleb, Jon, Jae and Phil.  We had some good times and I'll miss VT.
